Giving Back to the Community
Dr. Alvarenga, along with other doctors, dentists, nurses, and health professionals, donates his time and dental expertise at a local Good Neighbor Health Clinic to provide care for our patients. Together they provide medical and dental care for the needy and uninsured of the Upper Valley.
Dr. Alvarenga is currently the Dental Director of the Red Logan Dental Clinic. He has been volunteering at the Red Logan Dental Clinic for over 20 years. He has also a member of the Dental Advisory Committee and has served on the Board of Directors of the Good Neighbor Health Clinic. The RLDC is a great place to work: the staff is wonderful and very helpful and the patients are very appreciative. The Clinic also hosts dental externs (third-year dental students) from Harvard and BU Dental Schools, so teaching rounds out Dr. Alvarenga’s volunteer experience.
